GP care for passers-by
If you do not have a regular GP in our region (De Bevelanden, Schouwen-Duiveland or Walcheren), then you are a passer-by. This is the case, for example, if you are a tourist or migrant worker. Below you will find a map of GP practices in our region. The general practitioner care for passers-by is regulated here as follows:
- In life-threatening situations, call 112
- During office hours (from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), the regular GP practices are responsible for your care. Below you can see which GP practice(s) you can go to. This depends on where you are staying. Check the website of the GP practice in question to find out how to contact them.
- Medicoo app
It is good to know that a number of GPs in the region use the Medicoo app (https://medicoo.nl/). In these cases, the first contact is via the app, where you will be helped via a chat by a professional team that will refer you to the right care or help as efficiently as possible.
