Life threatening situation? Always call 112

Rates

If you are insured in the Netherlands, the costs will be reimbursed to the General Practitioner, because this is covered by the basic package. Tourists and patients who cannot prove that they are insured or do not have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) must pay directly to the General Practitioner (by card). They can claim the costs from their health insurer. Are you not insured in the Netherlands, but can you show a valid EHIC card at the counter? Then we can send an invoice to your insurance company.
